Andrew C. Denzel is the founder and President of The Denzel Group. He started The Denzel Group in 2006 after a successful run as Director of Sales at Glotel, where he was instrumental in launching the Permanent Placement Division in the United States. Prior to that he was Director of Sales for the Northeast region, the top performing Staff Augmentation region in the country. Mr. Denzel has been in the IT placement business for 15 years working initially as a permanent placement and contract/staff augmentation Account Executive with Monster Worldwide, and after a very successful time at the desk level moved into management at Hudson Global Resources (previously Monster Worldwide). At Hudson his top-ranked team was responsible for sales and recruiting for the Contract and Permanent Placement Division covering the Mid-Atlantic Region.Andrew has successfully led the Denzel Group to be listed as one of the 30 ‘Fastest Growing’ companies in the Lehigh Valley for three straight years (2014, 2015, 2016), ranking #11 in 2016. The Denzel Group was also recognized by Inc. Magazine ranking number 1574 out of 5000 on the Fastest Growing Companies List in the United States! He was also recently nominated for the LVB 40 under 40 list, for his commitment to business growth in the community. H. Stephen Denzel is the Director of Recruiting at the Denzel Group where he oversees the Recruiting process for the company. He joined the team in 2012 after deciding to leave the corporate world where he achieved consistent promotion through achievement for his entire 17 year career at Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). While at D&B he was involved in various Sales, Sales Management, and Leadership roles. Stephen is an active volunteer in the community, is currently the Co-Chair for the Special Olympics, Lehigh County, Track & Field event, and has held this position since 2007. Stephen is a graduate of Susquehanna University where he majored Business. He resides in the Lehigh Valley with his wife and 2 boys. Megan Firman is a Recruiting Manager at the Denzel Group. She joined in 2012 as a Recruiting Coordinator and after a successful start was promoted to Technical Recruiter. She specializes in the healthcare industry and has branched out into other areas such as manufacturing and Life Science companies. Megan has a Bachelor’s Degree from Temple University and lives in the Lehigh Valley with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys going for runs and spending time with family and friends. Jamie Houvig has been with the Denzel Group since 2013. Prior to joining The Denzel Group he was the Regional Sales Manager for Hooper Holmes a company that provides risk assessment for the insurance and healthcare industries. Jamie cut his teeth in the Recruiting industry where he began his career as an Account Executive for Ajilon and he focused on both permanent placement and staff augmentation. He holds a Bachelor Degree from Johnson & Wales University. Jamie resides in Auburn, PA with his wife and three kids.He enjoys spending time with his family, barbecuing, and both playing and watching sports. Kristin Freeman joined the Denzel Group as a Recruiting Coordinator in 2015. Prior to joining the team, Kristin worked in recruiting at American Express and UBS Investment Bank. She is a 2008 Graduate from Iona College with a Bachelor’s Degree. A Connecticut native, she enjoys exploring all the Lehigh Valley has to offer. Shelby Mease joined The Denzel Group in 2016 as a Recruiting Coordinator. She is a recent graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish. Prior to joining The Denzel Group, Shelby interned at the Human Resources Office of Bloomsburg University. She was recognized for successfully completing an important HR project at the conclusion of her internship. Jim Pizzelanti joined The Denzel Group in 2017 as a Recruiting Manager. Prior to joining the team, Jim spent the previous 20 years as a Recruiting Manager/Senior IT Recruiter at Princeton Information. Having 23 years in the industry, Jim has developed expertise in recruiting for Managers, Analysts and Developers. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Criminal Justice from Montclair State University. Jim lives in Kutztown with his wife and five children.
