Andrew C. Denzel is the founder and President of The Denzel Group. He started The Denzel Group in 2006 after a successful run as Director of Sales at Glotel, where he was instrumental in launching the Permanent Placement Division in the United States. Prior to that he was Director of Sales for the Northeast region, the top performing Staff Augmentation region in the country. Mr. Denzel has been in the IT staffing and placement business for more than 15 years working initially as a contract/staff augmentation and permanent placement Account Executive with Monster Worldwide. After a very successful time at the desk level he moved into management at Hudson Global Resources (previously Monster Worldwide). At Hudson his top-ranked team was responsible for sales and recruiting for the Contract and Permanent Placement Division covering the Mid-Atlantic Region. Andrew has successfully led the Denzel Group to be listed as one of the 30 ‘Fastest Growing’ companies in the Lehigh Valley for 5 straight years (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018). The Denzel Group was also recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in the United States in 2016 and 2018! He was also recently nominated for the LVB 40 under 40 list, for his commitment to business growth in the community. Andrew is an avid Philadelphia sports fan (Go Phils, 76ers, and especially Birds!) and spends as much time with his family in Cape May – Poverty and Cove beaches are the best! H. Stephen Denzel is the Director of Recruiting at the Denzel Group where he oversees the Recruiting process for the company. He joined the team in 2012 after deciding to leave the corporate world where he achieved consistent promotion through achievement for his entire 17 year career at Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). While at D&B he was involved in various Sales, Sales Management, and Leadership roles. Stephen is an active volunteer in the community, is currently the Co-Chair for the Special Olympics, Lehigh County, Track & Field event, and has held this position since 2007. Stephen is a graduate of Susquehanna University where he majored Business. He resides in the Lehigh Valley with his wife and 2 boys. Jamie Houvig has been with the Denzel Group since 2013. Prior to joining The Denzel Group he was the Regional Sales Manager for Hooper Holmes a company that provides risk assessment for the insurance and healthcare industries. Jamie cut his teeth in the Recruiting industry where he began his career as an Account Executive for Ajilon and he focused on both permanent placement and staff augmentation. He holds a Bachelor Degree from Johnson & Wales University. Jamie resides in Auburn, PA with his wife and three kids.He enjoys spending time with his family, barbecuing, and both playing and watching sports. Kristin Freeman joined the Denzel Group as a Recruiting Coordinator in 2015. Prior to joining the team, Kristin worked in recruiting at American Express and UBS Investment Bank. Since 2016, she has stepped up into a Technical Recruiter role and successfully placed both full-time and contract employees. She is a 2008 Graduate from Iona College with a Bachelor’s Degree. Elizabeth Wade joined The Denzel Group in 2014 as a Recruiting Coordinator. After taking a few years off to raise her young son, she rejoined The Denzel Group in 2018. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Criminology from Kutztown University. Prior to joining The Denzel Group, Elizabeth worked as a Lead Corporate Recruiter for a telecommunications company. Prior to joining The Denzel group in 2018, Michael has helped to grow various businesses in the roles of Business Development Executive, and Sales Manager. At Think Energy, he achieved the "Rookie of the Year" award during his first year. He then went on to claim the number one spot and "Top Gun" award the following year, in a company-wide 150 agent competition. Michael graduated from Kutztown University in 2008 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. He has always been local to the Lehigh Valley, currently residing in Whitehall with his fiancé. Amanda DeClerico joined The Denzel Group as a Technical Recruiter in 2019. Amanda joins the team with 4 years of Event Planning & Development experience in both the non-profit sector and the Wedding Industry. Prior to her role with The Denzel Group, Amanda held a position as Senior Coordinator of Special Events at a Veteran Service Organization in Bucks County in addition to serving as a day-of Coordinator for an Upper Bucks County wedding planning company. She attended Messiah College where she majored in Communication. Lorrie Jones recently joined The Denzel Group as an Associate Recruiter. She is a 2018 graduate of Northampton Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management. Lorrie is currently attending DeSales University and will obtain a Bachelors’ degree in 2020 for Human Resource Management. She joins the team with 6 years of customer/client relation experience, which will be a great asset when working with both candidates and clients of The Denzel Group. Andy Schmidt joined The Denzel Group in 2019 as a Senior Account Manager. Andy brings to the team a world traveler's view of business. He attended Hogeschool Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam and spent a total of 7 years in The Netherlands. His experience ranges from working in hospitality for Heineken to marketing Cisco Systems hardware, and managing premier accounts for a global credit data provider. Andy’s previous experience will enable him to find critically talented IT professionals and develop relationships with companies. In his spare time, Andy can be found on the golf course, in the mountains, or on a lake enjoying the great outdoors. Doug Kleist joined The Denzel Group as an Executive Recruiter in 2020. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the position, including over 30 successful years in sales and marketing roles where he established and built positive relationships with clients. Although originally from Minnesota, Doug graduated from DeSales University and has settled into the Lehigh Valley area ever since. When Doug is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
