We are seeking a skilled Principal Security Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise security infrastructure. This hands-on role focuses on endpoint protection, network security, cloud security, and email/browsing protocols. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in network or security operations, with expertise in managing and optimizing security controls across various technologies. 


A hybrid work schedule is available based on experience and tenure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and monitor security solutions across networks, servers, endpoints, and storage.

  • Manage endpoint security solutions, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring of alerts.

  • Design and maintain security controls for cloud environments and ensure their operational effectiveness.

  • Develop and document security standards, procedures, and incident response protocols.

  • Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Oversee encryption technologies (SSL/TLS, IPsec, VPNs) and manage PKI environments.

  • Collaborate with audit teams to provide evidence, address findings, and maintain compliance.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for security technologies, including firewalls, proxy servers, endpoint protection, and email security solutions.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in network security or security operations.

  • Hands-on expertise in endpoint protection, firewalls, email security, browsing security, and cloud security controls.

  • Strong foundation in networking, including experience with technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint.

  • Proficiency in managing solutions like Zscaler, Mimecast, or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of encryption, VPNs, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey technical information effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
