Description
The Denzel Group, an award-winning search firm, has been chosen to work with an industry leader on their quest for a talented Data Platform Lead. In this technical role you will be responsible for being an individual contributor on building an Enterprise Data Platform utilizing a suite of Microsoft data cloud products. You will be required to architect, design, implement, and maintain enterprise data platforms, data models that ensure the accurate, efficient, and secure organization of data across the enterprise.
This role will require the candidate to be onsite 4-5 days per week.
Responsibilities
Design/Research/Implement required process components to enable MS Azure functionalities (i.e. MS Fabric, Azure Purview, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, etc.)
Establish enterprise data architecture principles, frameworks data governance standards, secure stakeholder and management approvals as needed.
Design and implement robust Data Warehousing solutions to support scalable data storage, retrieval, and analytics for enterprise systems.
Oversee the development and deployment of the enterprise’s data and analytics platform for digital business.
Monitor data management trends and align them with business strategies, present evaluations to management.
Requirements
6+ years’ experience with the design and operation of a data platform from ingestion to consumption.
Experience with cloud Databases, Data warehouses and Data lakes (e.g. Azure Data Warehouse, Azure One Lake, Azure SQL DB, Synapse Analytics, or similar).
Ability to collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and stakeholders to meet data requirements.
Experience with AI/machine learning/deep learning is a plus.
Certifications in data visualization or related fields (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate). This is a plus and not required
