The Denzel Group, an award-winning search firm, has been chosen to work with an industry leader in Philly on their quest for a talented Chemistry Lab Manager. In this role you will oversee staff, ensure lab procedures are performed and reported correctly, implement continuous improvement, and ensure proper compliance.
Responsibilities
Train and supervise staff.
Assure laboratory procedures are approved, performed correctly and reported properly.
Drive continuous improvement.
Ensure quality of equipment and materials.
Maintain efficient record systems.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and accrediting organization regulations.
Manage payroll, scheduling, budgetary restraints, and inventory control.
Requirements
Related MS Degree at minimum, ASCP certification preferred.
4+ years’ chemistry clinical lab experience.
2+ years’ team leadership in a clinical lab environment.
Experience scheduling staff.
Experience with CAP inspections.
Experience writing procedures.
