The Denzel Group has been chosen to work with a global manufacturer on their quest for an Entry-Level Manufacturing Systems Engineer position. This is a permanent position, and our client offers a competitive base salary, excellent benefits, and growth opportunities.

Our client is looking for someone who is a self-learner and highly motivated to build upon your education and experiences to date. If you are extremely interested to grow your skillset, specifically in the areas of MES, SCADA, HMI and PLC, you will be given a huge opportunity to learn and develop with the fast growing Ignition platform.

Responsibilities:

• Program and troubleshoot SCADA and MES solutions

• Digitization of existing manufacturing and documentation processes

• Develop IoT-centric solutions for data acquisition

• Contribute to digital transformation of operations through leveraging of operational data

• Develop, maintain, and execute design documents, technical evaluations, test plans, and validation protocols for MES solutions

Requirements

• Desire to learn or grow skill sets in Ignition capabilities to include design, development and support.

• Experience or willingness to learn Manufacturing, Quality and Plant Maintenance business processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following, plus 2 years work experience: Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, systems Engineering or Computer Science

• Technical knowledge and proficiency in the following is a plus:

• MES Applications: Ignition, Sepasoft, SAP, SQL, Python Scripting, Java and C programming

• Plant Infrastructure- Flow of Machine Data

• Manufacturing SCADA or other PLC related systems exposure
